She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard G. Whitback and Marguerite C. Thomas Whitback; her husband Donald Maus; and her son Thurston Maus. She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Shoman of Poughkeepsie, NY and Alton Maus of Hamden, NY; and her sisters, Eunice Whitback and Eileen VanLowen. She is also survived by four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
