He was predeceased by: his parents, Deacon William Lazarus and Reverend Lucille Lemon Lazarus; and his siblings, Mary Lazarus, Zoila Mae Porter, Walter Solomon Lazarus and Louis "King" Lemon.

He is survived by: his sisters, Carrie Lazarus and Evangelist Dorothy Lazarus of Fairburn, Georgia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
