She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Jacob and Margaret Berge; her husband Neil J. Holzmann; and her son Neil. She is survived by: her children, Eileen Fontana (Anthony), William, Christine and Jimmy (Robert); and her grandsons, Michael and Brian.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home (245 Main St, West Sayville, NY 11796). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's RC Church (46 Church St, Lake Ronkonkoma, NY 11779).
In lieu of flowers donations in Katherine's memory may be made to the Foundation for the Blind Guide Dogs, Smithtown NY.
