She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob "Walter" Yoder and Grace Alderfer Yoder; her husband Robert N. Swartley; her daughter Brenda Swartley; her son-in-law James MacInnis; her brother Clyde A.; and her sister-in-law Lydia Yoder.
She is survived by: her children, Julia Bontrager (Thomas) of Carmel, IN, Audrey Rupp (Gary) of Whitestown, IN, Gerald Swartley (Teresa) of Geneva, Kevin Swartley (Melody) of Romulus, NY and Rodney Swartley (Michele) of Geneva. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
