He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Riedel and Francis Mautner Riedel; and his brothers, Donald, Raymond and Richard.

He is survived by: his wife Bev; his daughter Lisa Streck; his sister Susan McDaniel (Thomas) of Lake; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Riedel, Arlene Riedel, Carolyn DiMauro (Claude) and Tricia Hysell (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
