He was predeceased by: his father Salvatore Sanzone. He is survived by: his mother Polly Mirabelli Sanzone; his daughters, Kiersten Sanzone, Arielle Sanzone (Tim Rutledge-Johnson), Kelsi Sanzone (Josh Knapp), Isabella Sanzone (Maxwell Polus) and Gabriella Sanzone; his grandchildren, Kash Knapp, Journi Knapp, Krue Knapp and Orson Rutledge-Johnson; his siblings, Deborah Cignarale (Alex) and Samuel Sanzone (Theresa Schillaci); and his friend Colleen Jerome. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barry Funeral Home (807 W Chestnut St, Rome, NY 13440). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Church of St. John the Baptist (200 E Dominick St, Rome, NY 13440).
