He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Goetz and Margaret Goetz (Delaney); his daughter Patti Ann; and his brothers, Edward, Joseph and R. Terry.
He is survived by: his children, Shelley (Scott Granger), Jill (Jim McCarthy), Amy (Joseph Mellace) and Paul; his daughter-in-law Melody Goetz Jr.; his brother Philip Goetz; his grandchildren, Brett, William Granger, Allison, Paul Goetz III, Lauren, Daniel McCarthy, Joseph Jr., Sophia and Andrew Mellace; and his sisters-in-law, Maggie Goetz, Marilyn Goetz, Bonnie Goetz, Doris Baldigo and Suzie Chyrywaty. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home Inc. - Rome (418 N George St, Rome, NY 13440). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Lee Center Stokes Lee Center Rd Lee Center.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Paul's memory may be made to the St. Joseph's Church Memorial Fund or the Abraham House 1203 Kemble Street, Utica, New York 13501.
