Margaret J. Moonan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret J. Moonan (Rome, New York), born in Kingston, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 8, 2024 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ward Warren and Margaret O'Connor Ingalsbe; her husband William J. Moonan of Boonville, NY; her siblings, Ward W. Ingalsbe Jr. and Eleanor F. Lytle; and her son Thomas J. Moonan of Rome.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Destito (Paul) of Hobe Sound, FL, Diane Taverni (Edward) of Oswego, NY, Mary Crandall (Martin) of Bemus Point, NY, William Moonan III (Wendy) of Old Saybrook, CT, David Moonan (Alison Eldredge) of Ghent, NY and Brian Moonan (Pamela) of Rome. She is also survived by extended family including her beloved brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul's Church (1807 Bedford St, Rome, NY 13440). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
