She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Donald, Geraldine Smith, Merle and Dorothy Bates; her uncle Neil Smith; her aunt Jacqueline Smith; and her close friend John Vorees.
She is survived by: her parents, Patricia Bates and Thomas Bates; her sister Kaitlin; her brother-in-law Santino Calabresi; her brother Richard Luke; and her sister-in-law Jennifer Schaub. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Barry Funeral Home (807 W Chestnut St, Rome, NY 13440-2363). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Church (200 N James St, Rome, NY 13440-5833).
