He was predeceased by: his parents, Ceferino Colon and Julia Cardenales Colon. He is survived by: his siblings, Anna, Wilfredo, Luis, Lydia, Miguel, Cefarino Jr., Delsy, Angel, Norma and Xiomara; and also Wilfredo.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Barry Funeral Home (807 W Chestnut St, Rome, NY 13440). A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
