She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas McCormick and Francis McCormick (Gifford); her husband Robert Joseph Sears; her children, Robert Michael Sears and Marilyn Palinski; her son-in-law Thomas Kleek; her brother Thomas McCormick; and her granddaughter Courtney Beth Sears.
She is survived by: her children, Tim (Carrie Sears) and Patti Kleek; her son-in-law Thomas Palinski; her siblings, William McCormick, Mark DeDominick, Marilyn Fahy and Mary Anne Valentine; her grandchildren, David (Jessica), Michelle, Jennifer (Scott), Kimberly (Greg), Kristin (Eric), Haley (Drew), Molly (A. J.), Sandra, Sarah and Melissa; her great grandchildren, Emma, Colton, Liam, Mason, Madelyn, Alex, Caroline, Julia, Issac, Cortney, Frank and Talia; and her great great grandchild Maiella.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home (7751 Merrick Rd, Rome, NY 13440). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Peter's Church (200 N James St, Rome, NY 13440).
