He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon G. Vaughn and Luella Vaughn (Starks); and his son Gary Vaughn Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Christine Snyder; his children, Kilee Vaughn, Stacy Finster (Christopher Britton), Amy Bower (Eric), Jessica Henry (Thomas), Kaiden Vaughn and Jeremy Finster (Stacey); and his siblings, Karen Streiff (Herman), Grace Carr (Victor), Marshall Vaughn, Bruce Vaughn (Leona), Dewayne Vaughn (Wendy) and Mark Vaughn (Cathy). He is also survived by several grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Barry Funeral Home (807 W Chestnut St, Rome, NY 13440-2363). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
