She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin S Schiffer and Mary Schiffer (Young); her husband James W Kimmel Jr.; and her sisters, Judith L. Flanigan and Suzanne Swasey.
She is survived by: her children, Linda (David), Evans (VA), James Kimmel III (NY), Kenneth Kimmel (Mary Ann), Mary Strouse (Ric) of SC and Carol Spataro (Nick) of SC. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
