With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Debra A. Zanker (Rome, New York), who passed away on February 25, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Debra's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She is survived by: her husband Francis; her children, Amber and Adam; and her sisters, Shawn Konopka and Toyia Weaver. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, family members and many loving nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc. (418 N George St, Rome, NY 13440). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home (418 N George St, Rome, NY 13440). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the VFW Annex Hall.
Flowers must arrive by 12pm on Saturday, March 1, however, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Abraham House at theabrahamhouse.org (Rome Memorial Donation).
