He was predeceased by: his parents, Theresa Gaetano (Benincasa) and Angelo Gaetano. He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Gaetano (Dianna); his children, Diana Samuels (Robert) of Lee Center, NY, Thomas Gaetano (Coreen) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Sherry Gaetano (Roger) of Lee Center, NY and Angelo Gaetano III (Sarah) of Clinton, NY; his grandchildren, Alexandra Misiaczek (Chris), Diana, Gina Rasak (Caleb), Mia, Gianna, Eva, Alice, Angelo and Eliza; his great grandchildren, Jayce and Luca; and his siblings, Anne Marie and Ned Gaetano (Nunzio). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Nicholas J Bush Funeral Home (7751 Merrick Rd, Rome, NY 13440). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church (210 E Dominick St, Rome, NY 13440).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Siegenthaler Center, Hospice and Palliative Care of New Hartford, 4277 Middle Settlement Rd., New Hartford, N.Y. 13413, in remembrance of their loving care for Butch.
