He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Susan (Gowing) and Earl Kilmer Wetherwax; and his brothers, William, Richard and Donald Wetherwax (Linda).
He is survived by: his wife Merle Wetherwax; his son Robert Olin Wetherwax; his stepchildren, Gwendolyn Crandall and Herbert Crandall Jr. (Carrie); his sister-in-law Carol; his grandchildren, Aaron, Rachel, Haley and Michel; and his stepgrandchildren, Herb (Maria), Bridgette Dodge (Travis), Tebra Brownell (Russell) and Christopher Boyd (Vanesa). He is also survived by eight step-great-grandchildren.
