He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley S. Miller and Marie Miller (Komarek); and his daughter Gayle Buchner. He is survived by: his wife Carol Miller (Sampalek); his daughter Brooke Ane Miller (Dane Rasmussen); his grandchildren, Hope Buchner, Cole Rasmussen and Viviane Gayle Rasmussen; and his sister Marie Votava (Emil). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Mayo Clinic Cardiovascular Research Center or Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
