He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Zita; his children, Laura Opitz (Jason), Christine Caggiano and James Blythe (Chrystal); his grandchildren, Joseph, Bradley, Brianna, Ella, Allyson and Abigail; and his sisters, Carolyn Mora (Rich) and Diane O'Brien.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his loving memory to either the American Lung Association or Island Harvest Food Bank.
