She was predeceased by: her spouse James P. McBrearty. She is survived by: her children, Patricia, Kathe (Steve), Peter and Thomas (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Christine of James, Jean, Katlyn, Jessica, Sean, Lauren and Emily; and her great grandchildren, Jamie, Maddy, Evan, Shannon, James IV, Ani Kate, Skylar, Jack, Silas, Piper and Heidi.
Her family requests that in lieu of flowers or mass cards donations to the charity Long Island Cares be made in her name.
