He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Hogan and Zelda Frischkorn Hogan. He is survived by: his sister Bonnie A. Hogan; his sister-in-law Carol Hogan; and his nephews, David and Michael Hogan.

He loved collecting coins, stamps, and would regularly donate to Saint Jude's Hospital.
