She is survived by : her daughter Janice; her husband Francis B. Gibbons; her children, Sharon Gilsenan (Bill), Karen Carter (Kenny) and Bulow; her grandchildren, Jackie O'Connor, Bill Gilsenan, Leigh Salitel, Claire Rogan, Jillian Slominski, Paige Snow, Kristjan, Oskar and Bulow; and her great grandchildren, James, Patrick, Kevin O'Connor, Meredith, Sean, William Saltiel, Carter, Vivian Rogan, Elsie, Frances Slominski and Sadie Snow.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Macken Mortuary, Inc. - Rockville Centre (52 Clinton Ave, Rockville Centre, NY 11570). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 from 10:45 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Agnes Cathedral (29 Quealy Pl, Rockville Centre, NY 11570). A burial was held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 at 1:15 PM at the Calverton National Cemetery (210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933).
