Frances Schembri Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Schembri (Rockville Centre, New York), who passed away on April 5, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Albertelli and Catherine Albertelli. She is survived by: her husband Lorenzo Schembri; her children, Fred (Justine), Frank (Rachel), Christina (Jonathan) and Lorenzo (Mare); her grandchildren, Pete, Lexi, David, Isabella, Katie, Lorenzo, Mason and Austen; and her sisters, Carol Pugliese and Kathryn Gubista (James).
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Thomas A. Glynn & Son Funeral Home (20 Lincoln Ave, Rockville Centre, NY 11570). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the St. Agnes Cathedral (29 Quealy Pl, Rockville Centre, NY 11570).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the Lymphoma Research Foundation, or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, in memory of Frances Schembri.
