He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy (Fraser); his children, Christine D'Alessandro (Steven), Donald Jr. (Heather) and Gregory (Katherine); his grandchildren, Emily, Jack, Kathryn and Gavin D'Alessandro; and his siblings, Viriginia DeBono (Robert), Robert Gormsen (Patti), Kathi Behr (Danny) and Carole Bellis (Richard).
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thomas A. Glynn & Son Funeral Home (20 Lincoln Ave, Rockville Centre, NY 11570). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Christopher's R. C. Church (11 Gale Ave, Baldwin, NY 11510). A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Greenfield Cemetery (650 Nassau Rd, Uniondale, NY 11553).
