It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael A. Whelan (Rock City Falls, New York), who passed away on May 19, 2018, at the age of 29, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Michael F. Whelan; and his grandparents, Peter Whelan, Sr., Larraine Downs (Colvin), Jack Downs and Albert Stunzi.
He is survived by: his mother Maureen Stunzi Santiago of Saranac Lake; his siblings, Erica Whelan of Saratoga Springs, Dominique Santiago and Raymond Santiago of Saranac Lake; his grandmother Barbara Stunzi (Wallace); his stepgrandmother Linda Santiago (Van Eps); his aunts and uncles, Michele Whelan, Lisa Gatus (Whelan), Mary Waterson (Stunzi), Peter Whelan and George Waterson; and also, Saranac Lake, Josh Trombley, Chelsea Trombley, Peter Ayotte (Marv), Nicole Ayotte (Whelan), Ryan Gatus and Bailey Gatus.
