He was predeceased by: his parents, York Kunz and Margaret Kunz (Tuch); and his sister Hilde Roche. He is survived by: his wife Susan Weil Kunz; his children, Elizabeth Hession-Kunz (Andrew Hession-Kunz), Jonathan Kunz (Pamela Murphy) and Katherine Kunz (Alan Phipps); his grandchildren, Aaron, Jacob, Sarah Hession-Kunz, Benjamin, William Kunz, Nathan and Hannah Phipps; his nephew Peter Roche (Patricia); his niece Barbara Roche; and his cousins, Harriet Kunz and Renee Szlack.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either the Hochstein School of Music.
