He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Mendrick and Catherine Mendrick; his brother Richard; and his former wife Nancy Mendrick (Trumble). He is survived by: his wife Monica Mendrick; his children, Michael Mendrick (Becky) and Karen Koons; his stepchildren, Vicki Hartranft and Mark Petitti; his grandchildren, Jeremy Mendrick (Shauna), Timothy Knight, Kelly Brady (Brandon), Zack Koons, Daniel Kiernan, Nicholas Zamanian and Melissa Petitti; his great grandchildren, Shiloh Mendrick, Olivia Zamanian and Ali Strickland; and his siblings, Donald Mendrick (Fran) and Nancy Anderson.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home, Inc. (1411 Vintage Ln, Rochester, NY 14626). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
