He was predeceased by: his parents, Gardner Walker and Rosalie Walker (Cady); and his brother Ralph Walker. He is survived by: his brothers-in-law, Gary Grimshaw and Robert Fransman; his wife Kelly A. Walker; his son Wade W. Walker II; his siblings, Joyce Fransman, Alison Grimshaw, Eileen Walker, Shelia McOwen (Edward) and Gardner Alan Walker (Christine); and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Walker (Lisa).
