She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence and Mary; and her nephew Stephen Kesselring. She is survived by: her husband Jack; her son John Hoover (Marnie); her grandson Ethan Hoover; her siblings, Leo Kesselring (Cynthia) and June Mangan (Richard); her nieces, Susan Bell (Brian) and Kimberly Kesselring; and her nephew Scott Johnson (Laura).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Farrell-Ryan Funeral and Cremation Services (777 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14612). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Mother of Sorrows Church (5000 Mt Read Blvd, Rochester, NY 14612). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (2461 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612).
