It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Ann Dattalo (Rochester, New York), who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Sylvia Ann has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her brother Eugene Costa; and her son-in-law Hilbert Jordan. She is survived by: her husband Donald Dattalo; her daughter Traci Dattalo-Jordan (Bruce Davis); her granddaughters, Sophia and Ava Jordan; her brother Jack Costa (Marie); and her brothers-in-law, John Dattalo, Sr. (Audrey) and Frank Dattalo (Kim). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home (2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Holy Cross Church (4492 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612).
