Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sybil Young of Rochester, New York, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 91, on June 15, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel Fine (Jeanne B. Block) and Sanford Fine; her last love Alvin I. Young; her son Matthew Joel Fine; her brother Lewis E. Block; her brother-in-law Gerald R. Fine; and her mother-in-law Celia Fine Gold.

She is survived by : her children, Alan Fine (Vickie), Susan Fine and Iris Sheppard (Andy); her grandchildren, Jason (Paige), Alexander Rheinwald (Catie), Jennifer, Benjamin Sheppard (Lauren), Cecily and Isabella Fine; her great grandchildren, Oliver and Ari Rheinwald; her friends, Marcia Rosenfeld and Mary Anne Dewhirst; and also Dany Schaper-Fine.

A funeral service was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Chapel of Temple (2131 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14618). A shiva was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 157 Tumbleweed Dr, Pittsford, NY 14534.
