Sonia Searley Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sonia Searley of Rochester, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 7, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Sonia shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sonia farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband John; and her grandson Michael Searley. She is survived by: her children, Steven Searley (Suanne) and Joanne Salva (John); and her grandchildren, Sean Searley (Callie), Stephanie Putnam (Kory) and Lauren Salva (Jeff). She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Romig's Tavern (18 Bennington Dr, Rochester, NY 14616).
Her favorite charity was St. Jude Children's Hospital.
