The passing of Sharon D. Ahlman (Rochester, New York), born in Anna, Ohio leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 2, 2024. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Richard J. Ahlman. She is survived by: her children, Diane Ahlman (George Smith) and John Ahlman (Lizzy Susan Smelt); her grandchildren, Catherine Morffy Smith (Nick), Marion Seabaugh (Taylor), Jacob (Jennifer), Luke (Caitlin), Ana Gordon (Tripp) and Patrick Smelt; her great grandchildren, Owen Richard Seabaugh and Mason Jacob Ahlman; her brother Steve Fogt (Teri); and her brother-in-law Ronald A. Ahlman.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the IUCC. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Irondequoit United Church of Christ (644 Titus Ave, Rochester, NY 14617).

“There are no words to express our sympathy for your great loss. Sharon was an inspiration & a role model for aging gracefully. We are so thankful for both Sharon & Dick's friendship over the years. They were the best neighbors on Minocqua Drive for our 27 years there. Even after moving we kept in touch, meeting for dinners & updating each other with news about our families. We will definitely miss her Christmas card but mostly we will miss hearing her voice & especially her laugh. The Ballou's”
