He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Maslyn and Madelyn VanCamp Maslyn; and his brother-in-law Rodney Rishel. He is survived by: his wife Norma Maslyn; his grandchildren, Brittany, Bryan, Romeo, Andrew, Joshua and Eric; his great grandchild LillianaBrothers; and his siblings, Kay Rishel of Phelps, Doris Hunter (Bill) of Clifton Springs, Corky Maslyn (Carol) of Phelps, Janice Scherbyn (Leo) of Clifton SpringsTwin and Raymond Maslyn (Marge). He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Clifton Springs United Methodist Church (1 E Main St, Clifton Springs, NY 14432).
