Betts of Rochester, New York, born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 6, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Leonard and Ruth Rutledge; his sister Barbara; his siblings-in-law, Dick Hildreth, Ronna Rocker and Desda Fogg (James); and his parents, Frank Betts and Phyllis Betts.

He is survived by: his wife Sherrill (Rutledge); his sister Shirley Elson (Robert); his children, Christopher, Stephanie Jamieson (Mark) and Valerie Salitan (Steve); and his grandchildren, Hayley, Julia Betts, Adam, Nora, Grant Jamieson, Sara and Lauren Salitan.
