He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy A. Young (DeWolf); his parents, Frank C. Young and Florence W. Young; his sister Jean Young Grieger (Herman); his daughter-in-law Amy Young; and his brothers-in-law, Leonard DeWolf (Mary), Lawrence DeWolf, Kenneth Mosholder and John Veltre.
He is survived by: his children, Steven A. Young, Jacqueline Young-Karr and Charles R. Young; his grandchildren, Heather Johnson (Junior), Keith Karr, Robert Karr (Charissa), Molly Rae Anne Lopez (Giddel) and Adam Young; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Mosholder, Sylvane Barclay (Dave), Elaine Veltre and Shirley DeWolf. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James R. Gray Funeral Home (1530 Buffalo Rd, Rochester, NY 14624). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Theodore Church (168 Spencerport Rd, Rochester, NY 14606).
