It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard S. Vitale (Rochester, New York), who passed away on March 28, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Vitale and Joan Poletta. He is survived by: his wife Roseanne [DiGiovanni] Vitale; his sons, Michael R. Vitale, Nicholas J. Vitale (Victoria) and Christopher Vitale (Brianne); his grandsons, Nicolo A. Vitale and Cole Richard Vitale; his stepmother Bonnie Vitale; and his siblings, Michael C. Vitale, Michele Stenclik (Gary), David Fizer, Shelleen Fizer and Charles Vitale. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc. (219 Spencerport Rd, Rochester, NY 14606). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Pius X Church (3000 Chili Ave, Rochester, NY 14624).
