It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard J. Black Sr. (Rochester, New York), who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Richard departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Richard leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Black and Marguerite Black; and his son-in-law A. J. Saxe. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Black; his daughter Holly Saxe; and his brother Robert Black (Mary). He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home (2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626). A prayer was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
