He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Fluegel and Josephine Fluegel of Wilkes-Barre, PA.; and his grandparents, Helen George, Joseph J. Fluegel, Walter and Mary Fluegel Weiss.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard Fluegel Jr. and Jacob Fluegel; his siblings, Mary Jo Fluegel, Joseph J. Fluegel (Nance), Patricia Oldziejewski (Mark), Leah Olex and Kathleen Fluegel; and his nieces and nephews, Amanda Stiles (Dave), Carissa Becker, Logan Fluegel, Mark Oldziejewski, Alicia Oldziejewski, Jerry Poepperling Jr. and James Poepperling. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Paul W. Harris Funeral Home (570 Kings Hwy S, Rochester, NY 14617). A Mass will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Church. A burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024.
