With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Renate G. Briggs (Rochester, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Renate had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Renate may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald J. Briggs; her son Ronald Briggs, Jr.; and her granddaughter Alanna Whelan. She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Grip (John) and Heidi Whelan; and her granddaughters, Kaitlyn Grip, Rachel Grip (Dominic Speranza) and Danielle Whelan. She is also survived by several great grandchildren; brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc. (219 Spencerport Rd, Rochester, NY 14606). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450 in her memory.
