Raymond Probst Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Probst of Rochester, New York, who passed away on March 25, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Raymond may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine Probst; and his brother Robert Probst. He is survived by: his children, Bruce Probst (Shirley), Brit Probst (Linda Hanselman), Fran McKenna (Anne) and Holly Powell (Darryl); and his brother Richard Probst. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Home Chapel (150 Highland Ave, Staten Island, NY 10301). A reception will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Parks Room, Chestnut Court.
