He was predeceased by: his wife Valerie J. Allen; and his daughter Alissa Newett. He is survived by: his children, David Allen (Maureen), Michael Allen (Eun-Mi Shim) and Cara Bracamonte (David); his grandchildren, Madeleine, Rebecca Allen, Jordan, Hannah Allen-Shim, Marissa, Joe Bracamonte and Aria Newett; and his great grandchild Lyla Alissa Levy.
