Olga J. Hewis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Olga J. Hewis (Rochester, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 3, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Olga may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Olga touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hnat Lozinsky and Mary Lozinsky of Cleveland, Ohio.; her husband Andrew Hewis; her close friend Frank Schrumpf; her great-nephew Lowell Hewis; her friends, Marie Lenart and Jon Zachadnyk; and her pet Kibbs.
She is survived by: her daughter Wendy Andrews (Hewis); her grandsons, Weston and Austin Andrews; and her nephew Scott Hewis.
