He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Murray and Katie Murray; his grandchildren, Rachel, John Murray, Cassidy (Evan), Abbey Macdonald, Jenna, Ryan Pabrinkis, Dylan and Brooke Macdonald; his former wife Isabel Murray; and his siblings-in-law, Catriona Murray and Hugh Hunter (Graham Macdonald).
He is survived by: his wife Andrea Murray; his children, Graeme, Alan Murray (Allison), Lynne Pabrinkis (Dan) and Ian Macdonald (Melanie); his siblings, Donald Murray and Donella Hunter; and also Graham Macdonald. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
