She was predeceased by: her husband John F. Kernan. She is survived by: her children, Mary Catherine Kernan (Ken Stanzione), John J. Kernan, Patricia Ferrante (David), Kathleen Fowler (Edward), William Kernan Sr., Theresa Shoemaker (Ken), Kevin Kernan (Tiffany) and Thomas Kernan (Michele); her grandchildren, Kaitlin Kernan Herbert (Brendan Gibbs), Molly Kernan Herbert, Emily Bianchi (Casey), Nicholas Ferrante, Theresa Cacciola (Brendan), EJ Fowler, Madison Fowler, William Kernan Jr., Olivia Kernan, Alex Shoemaker, Matthew Shoemaker, Brock Shoemaker, Morrisey Kernan, John Aloysius Kernan, Katherine Kernan, Erin Shea Kernan and Nathan Kernan; her great grandchildren, Parker Thomas Bianchi and Cameron Charles Gibbs; and her sister-in-law Edna Vay. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
