With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Frances McDonald Downs of Rochester, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Angus McDonald and Lulu Pearl Sommerville; her brother Kenneth McDonald; and her sister-in-law Dawn McDonald. She is survived by: her sons, Timothy J. Downs (Biying) and Bryan M. Downs (Karen); her husband Tim; her grandchildren, Matthew, Nathan, Allison, Julia, Alexsandra and Yangyan; her great grandchildren, Brandon, Gavin, Karla, Arianna, Levi, Hope, Oona, Julianna, Tallulah and Enzo; her great great grandchild Bryson; and also Rev. Laura Bachman.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the School of the Holy Childhood.
