She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Merenda; and her brothers, Michael Russo and Russell Russo. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Merenda, Jr. (Marcia), Jean Conway (John), Beth Libera (Bill), Rosemarie Visco (George) and Albert Merenda (Caroline); and her siblings, Thomas Russo (Donna) and JoAnne Whitney. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
