She was predeceased by: her husband Alredo Aponte; and her son Wilfredo Aponte. She is survived by: her children, Carmen Aponte (Jose), Yvette Aponte, Nereida Harrison (John), Elba Aponte and Luis Aponte (Lizsandra). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
