We bid farewell to Loretta Mitchell-Ellis (Rochester, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 24, 2024 at the age of 79. Loretta touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Loretta may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Loretta touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Ellis; her parents, Leo Mitchell and Nellie Mitchell; and her pet Heidi. She is survived by: her sister Kathy Schommer; her nephews, Glen and Brian Schommer (Dawn Duprey); her great-niece Jillian Duprey-Schommer; and her great-nephew Alex Duprey. She is also survived by many cousins and close friends.
