We bid farewell to Lidia Martinescu of Rochester, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 17, 2024 at the age of 80. Lidia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Lidia departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lidia may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lidia leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ioan Constantinescu and Maria Constantinescu; and her husband Ray Martinescu. She is survived by: her sons, Eduard, Theodor and Jeffrey.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson (1075 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14626).
The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Lidia's home church, Genesee Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church, in her memory.
