He was predeceased by: his wife Kathryn Ann Milton; his parents, Frances Milton and Clare L. Milton; his brothers, Clare, Robert and Thornton; his son-in-law Rodney Godfrey; his grandson Eric Godfrey; and his former wife Mary Chase Milton Smith.
He is survived by: his family, Gillian Milton (Barry Miles), Michael Smith (Diane), Kirby Milton Jr. (Nan Pearson), Timothy Smith (Ann), Patrick Smith (Nina), Mary Clare Godfrey, John Milton (Michelle) and Elizabeth Yee (Clyde). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
